How is the Food Handler training administered in the state if Illinois?

Training can be completed online, in-person with live or remote trainers, or by certified food service sanitation managers.

For restaurant workers, training must be ANAB-approved, unless the local health department or the business has an approved internal program.

All candidates who pass will receive the same food handler card.
