• ANAB food handler training certificates are valid for 3 years.

• This applies to training for food handlers in restaurants and other facilities such as nursing homes, licensed daycare homes, hospitals, schools, and long-term care facilities.

• Those working in non-restaurant settings are not required to retake training unless they change employers.

• Food handler cards for non-restaurant employees are not transferable between employers.
